Obama Splits With Yet Another Clergyman
The campaign cuts ties with the Rev. Michael Pfleger. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Thursday that he was “deeply disappointed” by a supporter’s sermon at his church that mocked Hillary Rodham Clinton, The Associated Press is reporting. The Rev. Michael Pfleger, a Chicago activist, also apologized for last Sunday’s sermon at Obama’s church, in which he said Clinton’s
eyes welled with tears before the New Hampshire primary because she felt “entitled” to the Democratic nomination and because “there’s a Black man stealing my show.” In video circulating on the Internet, Pfleger said the former first lady expected to win the nomination before Obama’s sudden popularity. (See the video below) “She just always thought that, ‘This is mine. I’m Bill’s wife. I’m White.’ … And then, out of nowhere, came ‘Hey, I’m Barack Obama.” And she said, ‘Oh damn, where did you come from? I’m White. I’m entitled.
There’s a Black man stealing my show,’” Pfleger said at Trinity United Church of Christ. He then went on to parody Clinton, sobbing and wiping his face with a handkerchief. “She wasn’t the only one crying,” he said. “There was a whole lot of White people crying.”Obama won the Iowa caucuses, the first contest of the nominating season, in January. Days later, Clinton’s eyes brimmed with tears and her voice broke as she talked with New Hampshire voters on the eve of the primary, which she won. In a statement in which he cut ties with Pfleger, Obama said, “As I have traveled this country, I’ve been impressed not by what divides us, but by all that that unites us.
That is why I am deeply disappointed in Father Pfleger’s divisive, backward-looking rhetoric, which doesn’t reflect the country I see or the desire of people across America to come together in common cause.”Pfleger, the White pastor of predominantly Black Saint Sabina Roman Catholic Church on the city’s Southwest side, said he regretted his choice of words as he addressed the congregation of Obama’s church as a guest pastor Sunday. “These words are inconsistent with Senator Obama’s life and message and I am deeply sorry if they offended Senator Clinton or anyone else who saw them,” Pfleger said.
Clinton’s campaign denounced Pfleger’s comments.”Divisive and hateful language like that is totally counterproductive in our efforts to bring our party together and have no place at the pulpit or in our politics,” the campaign said in a statement. Pflager previously defended the Rev. Jeremiah Wright when he was under fire for his fiery sermons. Obama recently broke with Wright, who had been his longtime pastor, after video of his sermons blaming U.S. policies for the Sept. 11 attacks and his calls of “God damn America” became fixtures on the Internet and cable news networks and created a political problem for the candidate. Pfleger, known locally as a community activist and organizer, was arrested in June 2007 with the Rev. Jesse Jackson during a protest outside of a south suburban Chicago gun shop. The criminal trespass charges were later dropped.
Images of Man, Woman On Sex Tape Are Authentic
Thursday that the video appears to show “real people in a real environment,” despite suggestions by Kelly’s lawyers that technology may have been used. Kelly faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted of videotaping sex acts, including urinating on what prosecutors say was a girl as young as 13 at the time of the video’s taping. Both Kelly and the alleged victim have denied appearing in the footage. “It would be very, very time-consuming and very hard to do,” Skaluba said of any effort to place false images of the man and young woman into the video footage. Meanwhile, prosecutors told the court they need more time to interview a possible defense witness who called Kelly’s lawyers Wednesday, saying he had important evidence. It’s believed that the surprise witness may have information that contradicts the expected prosecution testimony of a single mom who says she and the alleged victim of the porn recording had three-way sex with Kelly with both girls were teenagers.
Who would deface a mural of Barack Obama?
Merchants around the Little Five Points community in Atlanta want to know who defaced a painting of presidential candidate Barack Obama (video: MyFoxAtlanta). Only a few hours after the artwork went up, vandals did serious damage to it. Phil Sims told WGCL in Atlanta Monday that he was sickened to see what someone had done to the Obama mural, adding that the area had a mural of Martin Luther King Jr., that had never been defaced. Cameron Wilthshire, who created the mural with another artist, told the Atlanta TV station that “the eyes were blacked out and there was a swastika on his forehead.” Wilthshire said there are those who just aren’t ready for a Black president, and they can’t wrap their head around the thought. He said if the mural is defaced again, he’ll just paint over it.
Soldiers In Afghanistan Free To Get Their Freak on

For many moons, soldiers in Afghanistan weren't allowed to have sex, but now a new order says they are allowed, so we can win the war. However, this may lead to increased pregnancies, because apparently the same military that trains its soldiers to dismantle a gun in 30 seconds cannot train its soldiers how to put on a condom the right way.
"I think it's a bad idea," said Pfc. Shane Inman, 30, of Fort Dodge, Iowa. "I think there's going to be a lot more pregnancies going around. Not that there already isn't. But at least they won't get in trouble for it."
You see, the basic difference between the old rules and the new rules is that now the military will be very sad and disappointed if its soldiers are fucking each other, whereas before such soldiers could be punished.

He explained that his wife had been having severe unexplained allergic reactions to food, requiring doses from his wife's EpiPen.

The incident was allegedly all precipitated when Shehow's mother took away the teens cell phone because had text messaged too much, going over the limit.
